I'm very divided on this article, and this topic. Euthanasia is a very controversial topic which apparently has had books written about it, and alot of people die over it.
I believe that Euthanasia should only be allowed if it is medically proven that the person will die in less than six months, and they are in tremendous pain, but this should ONLY be after consent of a medial doctor.
BUt then again, it is the persons right to do what they want with their bodies, and their lives.
On the other hand, Suicide is technically illegal in the united states.
So, where do I stand? I don't know.
My religion tells me that Euthanasia is bad. But my head, which thinks with my religion quite a bit is divided.

You are actually in the right spot, that is you are critically thinking, evaluating and synthesizing information, rather than accepting hierarchal dogma. That's how one affects positive change in society. Inflexible, "right answers" are for small minds. Growth sometimes is painful, but ultimately beneficial. In terms of your spiritual beliefs, a fundamentally strong system will benefit through its members thinking, although the hierarchy might profess otherwise.
