Heath Ledger... Oscar Winner

I just wanted to say that heath ledgers performance in the Dark Knight was more than deserving of a posthumous oscar. The depth of his character was so deep that I at least thought it was really hard to tell that this was the same person who played a cowboy in "brokeback mountain", or revolutionary war soldier in "the patriot".
Heath Ledger was an amazing actor and the drama crowd of Hollywood was debted to him after his performance in the dark knight. the least he could have gotten was a posthumous oscar. While I believe he could have reveived the award for best actor himself, supporting actor is no walk in the park either.

  1. Matt, I agree about how Hollywoood is in indebted to Heath Ledger. He was a great actor, and the least they could have done was recognize the great work he had accomplished through his great life. They did just that. I felt like it was completely necessary to honor him in such a way, regardless of his performance in Dark Knight. That sounds awful, but he deserved it no matter how the movie turned out, in terms of popularity, and public interest. Though naturally everyone loved it. Or at least I did.
